Testimonials from parents of Tír na nÓg:
Having Anita care and nurture our two children has continued to benefit our family five years later. Anita's Steiner philosophy means she nurtures the whole child and encourages parents to reflect on their beliefs, skills, attitudes and methods. The rhythm, celebrations and seasonal changes are still informing our family as our eldest starts high school. Thanks for all the love you have shared Anita.

Our two children were fortunate enough to attend family day care with Anita and we could not have been happier with the experience. The children (and parents) were educated and cared for in an environment that nurtured both their physical and emotional wellbeing. In addition to the structure and routine that Anita brought to each day there was a lot of creative play, fun, laughter and learning. The children fell in love with her toys (which were all great quality wood and wool), dress up clothes (that could change from a king's cape to a knight's cloak to a princess's dress with a simple knot) and garden. Many hours were spent playing in her cubby re-enacting the stories she had told during the day. We feel privileged to have had Anita’s love and guidance on the start of our journey to Steiner education and grateful for the support she gave our whole family.

We loved every moment of our time spent with Anita at Tir Na Nog preschool. She has created a beautiful nurturing environment for the children with emphasis given to the power of creative, imaginative play. The beautiful nature crafts, activities like baking and watercolour painting and all the seasonal stories and songs just make this a magical environment for any child. It was also a seamless transition for my son into kindergarten at a Rudolf Steiner School. But, we all still miss seeing Anita each week!

Both our daughters have gone to preschool at Tir na nOg with Anita. I feel incredibly lucky that my children have had the opportunity to experience this special preschool. It is a magical and nurturing environment that supports both the children and the parents. There is so much to love about the experience at Tir Na nOg. The daily rhythm really helps give the children a strong sense of security and belonging. The seasonal rhythm brings a wonderful sense of the natural rhythm of year, and genuine appreciation of the natural world. We love each and every seasonal festival (the apple picking harvest festival might be our favourite) and feel a sense of connection with the warm and caring community of parents. We can't thank Anita enough for all that she has done for our girls. I would recommend Tir na nOg to any parents looking for a really unique and special preschool experience.
